Donald Trump Jr doesn't want his secret
service protection anymore

Don Jr. (Junior) doesn’t want the Secret Service following he and his family around anymore. At least, that’s what the Washington Post (WaPo) says the New York Times (NY Times) first reported.

According to the WaPo,, some of Junior’s friends say he’s been back ‘n’ forth over whether he should keep his 24-7 secret service protection.

Apparently, Junior wants to go back to his private life when he could just walk outside and smell the fresh air alone.

But, things don’t work that way. He is the president’s son and he made himself an intricate part of his father’s campaign and business.

This in and of itself makes him a target of all haters, from all sides. No pun intended.

Former Secret Service Agent Jonathan Wackrow , who worked on former President Barack Obama’s detail, told the WaPo that the chances of Don Jr. getting rid of his secret service detail is slim to none.

The WaPo quoted Wackrow as saying, “In today’s global risk environment, waiving this detail poses great danger to him and to his family. People who want to lash out at the president are going to seek that path of least resistance. This decision is negligent.”

According to the WaPo, Secret Service Spokeswoman Catherine Milhoan wouldn’t confirm or deny whether Don Jr. had made the request.
