Five Guys is the one place where I like to go to chow down on a cheeseburger. Five Guys’ burgers taste like actual burgers, not a frozen patty that somebody warmed up and placed on a bun.
The Five Guys folks actually cook their burgers. In fact, they stand right there in front of you and cook the burgers. They place the mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and ketchup on the burger while you’re standing there. So you know it’s authentic.
Those Wendy’s, McDonald’s, and Burger King folks; unh-unh, they give you that warmed-up frozen patty on a bun and then charge you about $5 for that mess.
My dog wouldn’t eat that mess they be serving folks. That’s why Five Guys is the only burger joint where I don’t mind paying money for what I can cook myself.
