Zack, Kelly, Slater, and Jessie have been friends for 30 years. Zack posted the picture on his Instagram account of the quad squad celebrating the 30th anniversary of Saved by the Bell .
The four friends whose real names are Mark Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski), Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater), and Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano) met when they were teenagers filming the hit teen show, Saved by the Bell.
A show, which by the way, I must say was one of my favorite shows to watch when I was in elementary school, new to life.
I always wondered what happened to Zack and Kelly. I haven’t seen them in a while. They been working, though. I just haven’t seen them working. But, that’s all right,
Now, I do see Slater all of the time. In fact, I saw him on George Lopez’s show. He played a good cop. Then he has that gig on Extra. So, I’m always seeing him.
As for Jessie, I see her around sometimes. I saw some of her movie,
Rodger Dodger. She was in the movie Zombieland with lil’ Columbus (Jesse
I didn’t see any of that movie, Showgirls, where Jessie was on that stripper pole. I’m sure she did a good job going up and coming down that pole. It’s just that I didn’t see it.
Don’t get me wrong now! I’m not bad mouthing Jessie for her stripper pole dancing in a movie. She’s good people. I’ve never heard anybody bad mouth her. So, she’s all right in my book.
Screech (Dustin Diamond) and Lisa (Lark Voorhies), weeelll, I’m not going to say anything bad about them because I know they were going through. And I don’t talk bad about peoples.
As for Mr. Belding (Dennis Haskins), the last time I saw him he was in A Million Ways to Die. He was selling elixir that fixed everything.
Now, let me get back to talking about that picture there. The beautiful thing about Zack’s Instagram post is the friendship that it shows between him, Kelly, Slater, and Jessie.
In order to have a friendship last three decades, a person must not only like, love, and respect those he/she calls his/her friends but he/she must also like, love, and respect him/herself.
So, much props to Mark Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, Mario Lopez, and Elizabeth Berkley for staying true to who they are and to one another.
