Welp, he finally did it! It took him almost three days, but Donald Trump finally got out that tweet, hating on the Emmys.
Trump tweeted, “I was saddened to see how bad the ratings were on the Emmys last night - the worst ever. Smartest people of them all are the “DEPLORABLES.”
As folks know, ol’ Trump isn’t a fan of the Emmys. He doesn’t like the fact that he’s never won an Emmy for hosting The Apprentice or The Celebrity Apprentice.
Let Trump tell it, a nomination should be a sure win and the folks over at the Emmys never should have wasted his precious time getting his hopes up when they knew they were just going to keep his hopes down.
And y’all know that Trump is more than likely sitting there saying to himself that the fact that Alec Baldwin, the fella who played in Beetlejuice, won an Emmy playing him is just further proof that the Emmys is rigged.
Trump’s tweet, by the way, didn’t go over too well with the Almighty. God, who y’all can find at the Twitter handle atTheGoodGodAbove, tweeted “Trump has now spent more time condemning the Emmy’s than he has mass murdering maniac Vladimir Putin.”
Yeah, the good Lawd is right about that one.
