Flower arrangements with Martha Stewart are so fun! You have the vase, the flowers, the pear, the scissors, and the hammer all to get you started.

But most importantly, there’s Martha. And last Monday, the queen of Home and Garden stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to chit-chat about her new book Martha’s Flowers and to give Stephen Colbert a quick lesson on flower arrangement.

The one thing that made this flower arrangement so much fun was the name of the flowers.

There were flowers with names like hairy balls and pussy willow. Colbert was busy tickling the hairy balls, while Stewart was beating the pussy…willow… with a hammer.

“You certainly know how to pound the pussy willow,” Colbert jokingly told Stewart.” Oh, it was funny! The crowd couldn’t stop laughing and neither could I and neither will you.
