Letecia’s Stauch’s game of “delay, delay, delay” is still working. On Thursday, July 28, 2022, Judge Gregory Werner
announced that he is holding off on setting a trial date for Letecia Stauch.
decided to hold off on announcing a trial date for Stauch because the state hospital is still trying to get out the report on whether she is right in the head enough to stand trial for her killing and disposing of 11-year-old Gannon Stauch’s body.
Why the hospital is taking so long? No one has said exactly. It could be anything from missing information to the hospital having a backup due to other cases the staff needs to complete.
The one thing that is for sure is that before the non-Chanel bracelets were slapped on Letecia Stauch’s wrists, she has been right in the head enough to play the game of “delay, delay, delay.”
Back on January 27, 2020, the alleged murderess’ game of “delay, delay, delay,”
began after she killed 11-year-old Gannon Stauch by beating him with his Nintendo Wi remote and then stabbing and shooting him.
After killing the kid, she then placed his dead body in her truck and drove down South to Santa Rosa County Florida where she dug a hole and dumped 11-year-old Gannon Stauch’s body in it.
Once she had gotten rid of 11-year-old Gannon Stauch’s body, she then headed further up the Dixie Line to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. While there, she enjoyed her time in the sun, on the beach, and good eats.
Unbeknownst to her, though, the police were on her trail like a bloodhound on a coon’s tail. The police caught her scent of fun, followed it, spotted her, and then arrested her. Letecia Stauch was shipped off to Colorado where she was hit with a slew of charges that included felony murder and the illegal disposal of a corpse.
Seeing that the evidence against her could only be overcome with the help of God, the alleged murderess got those wheels a turning. The first thing that popped up in her mind was to get rid of her lawyers. So, she fired her entire legal team
Mind you, now, she didn’t fire them to get lawyers who were license to practice law. She fired them so she could represent herself because she knew that by representing herself the court would be forced to call an Arguello advisement hearing
. An Arguello advisement hearing
is called to make sure a defendant understands his or her 6th Amendment Right to a lawyer.
The hearing was called. The court
told her she could represent herself. And what’d you know, the trial date was delayed. Welp, after that delay, the alleged murderess
went back to the court and told them she was ready to have a lawyer defend her.
Enter Attorney Josh Tolini
. Tolini is your common overworked “ambulance chaser.” He has piles of legal work up to ying yang. Facing a March 2022 trial date, Tolini did the only thing he could do. “Delay, delay, delay!” Tolini
told the court his client couldn’t’ve possibility killed 11-year-old Gannon Stauch because she isn’t right in the head.
Judge Greg Werner was like, “All right, I’ll play your little game but we all know how this is going to end.” Uno, dos, tres psych evaluations
is what the court has ordered.
But like all bad things, this “delay, delay, delay” game will end and the alleged murderess, Letecia Stauch, will be dealt a mighty blow by Lady Justice’s unforgiven hand.
