Megan Boswell waited almost two months to report her daughter missing
Sometime after Christmas, 15-month-old Evelyn Mae Boswell went missing. But it wasn’t until last week that her mother, Megan Boswell, decided to tell the police that she hadn’t seen her 15-month-old toddler daughter since the last week in December 2019.
Let Megan Boswell tell it, she didn’t notify the authorities, from the jump, that her toddler daughter was last seen playing with her Christmas presents because the little girl was hanging out with Megan Boswell’s mother, Angela Boswell.

Here’s what the folks over at CBS News said Megan Boswell told the police, “We went to go out to eat and then my mom came and got her. She was wearing a little hot pink track suit with a matching bow and matching shoes.”
Just stop for a moment there and read that last part again: “She was wearing a little hot pink track suit with a matching bow and matching shoes.”
Folks like Megan Boswell tend to drop little tidbits like that one about the “little hot pink track suit with a matching bow and matching shoes” to the police so that the police know what to look for whenever they find the little girl’s body.

“During the investigation, we determined that some of the statements Meagan Boswell provided to us were false. Many of the false statements that Meagan made delayed our investigation and also impeded our investigation,” is what Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Casidy said. As to be expected, the police arrested Megan Boswell for all of the lies she, “allegedly,” told about where her daughter is.
